R E V E L A T I O N S \\  I am a multidisciplinary creator based in Edmonton, Alberta. My pronouns are she/they/او. I identify as an immigrant artist walking in my nomad ancestors' shoes. My long journey across the ocean from Tehran to New York and then Alberta continues to inform and form my creative profile. My practice is mainly focused on visual arts with roots in my long-term studies in theory and the practice of design, which also makes me an independent curator. My art lives on in numerous private collections in the United States, Iran, Germany, the United Kingdom, and Canada. I am currently a studio artist at Harcourt House Artist Run Centre which is the single largest community of visual arts studios in Alberta, Canada.

I gently live and make expressions of art on Amiskwacîwâskahikan ᐊᒥᐢᑿᒌᐚᐢᑲᐦᐃᑲᐣ; the traditional gathering place of Treaty 6 peoples which includes Cree, Saulteaux, Blackfoot, Métis, Dene and Octet Sakowin nations.
I thank Edmonton Arts Council for supporting my past and current projects.
I thank Behdad Esfahbod for the inspiration and patronage of my past and current creations.
